The city has decided to sell a property at 11971 Santa Rosalia St. to Citizens in Action, a nonprofit community organization. The group will buy the 7,000-square-foot parcel for $45,000 in cash, then build a three-bedroom, single-family home. Once construction is completed, Citizens in Action plans to sell the home for about $165,000.
