Irvine Lake will host a Fireworks Spectacular and Family Day on Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. Daylong activities include a petting zoo, pony rides, a moon bounce, games, live bands, and pedal and motor boat rentals. Fireworks begin about 8:45 p.m. “Where else can you see fireworks on the lake and enjoy the day with your family?” Irvine Lake General Manager Yvonne Pedersen said. Picnics are welcome, but ice chests and barbecue grills are prohibited. Irvine Lake is owned and operated by Villa Park-based Serrano Water District and is a popular venue for Villa Park families. Admission is $5 for children 4 to 15 years old and $7 for adults. Children younger than 4 are admitted free. Family admission for families up to three children is $22. Information: (714) 649-9113.
