Motorist Killed in Freeway Accident

NORTH HOLLYWOOD — A motorist was killed in a fiery crash Tuesday when the victim’s car apparently stalled and was struck by another vehicle, officials said.
The accident occurred about 5:40 p.m. on the southbound Hollywood Freeway, north of Sherman Way, said Officer Richard Perez of the California Highway Patrol. The victim’s body was severely burned in the crash, Perez said.
The victim’s name was not immediately released.
