Valley College to Host Job Workshops Next Week
Valley College will host two workshops aimed at helping job seekers or those currently employed get better prepared for the next step.
Leading up to its 20th annual Job Fair, which is set for March 10, the school will hold a two-hour workshop Monday on finding jobs that are not advertised in commonly accessible places.
Titled “Penetrating the Hidden Job Market,” the workshop will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the school’s faculty lounge/cafeteria conference room.
“Transitions in Going Back to School” will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. March 9, also in the cafeteria conference room.
The job fair, which is expected to attract up to 70 employers, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Monarch Square.
All events are free and open to the public.
