PLACENTIA
City Council members Tuesday unanimously voted to join the Orange County Regional Airport Authority, a pro-airport group, but said their decision is not an endorsement for an airport at the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. Councilwoman Maria Moreno was absent.
Councilman Chris Lowe said that now is the time for Placentia to actively participate in the decision-making process on an airport. “We as a council and we as a community . . . need to be involved,” he said.
