Los Amigos 14, Estancia 3 (5 innings, mercy rule)--Billy Keleman had two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored for Los Amigos (1-0). Blake Evans and Tim Millar each hit home runs for the Lobos.

In the Glendora tournament:

Fullerton 4, Baldwin Park Sierra Vista 0--Daniel Matson pitched a five-hitter with eight strikeouts for visiting Fullerton (1-0).

Johnathan Pate had three hits, including a home run, and Matt Bentley also hit a home run for the Indians.

In the Newport Elks tournament:

Capistrano Valley 11, Corona del Mar 8--Scott Cheo had four hits, including two home runs, and six RBIs and also earned the the save for Capistrano Valley (1-0).

Huntington Beach 4, Hacienda Heights Los Altos 3--Huntington Beach catcher Shawn Shuck had a pair of two-run home runs for the Oilers (1-0).

Murrieta Valley 3, Mission Viejo 1--Mission Viejo’s John Hudgens struck out 15 and gave up only two hits, but one was a home run to Justin Schuda for Murrieta Valley.
