* Fairview Road: A compact disc player, cellular phone and a briefcase worth $1,050 were stolen from a car in the parking lot at Costa Mesa High School sometime during the evening March 2.

* Orangewood Avenue at Euclid Street: Police were looking for three men who allegedly robbed and beat a man and then drove off in a Nissan Sentra 200SX at about 1 a.m. Friday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Villa Nueva Drive and San Leandro Lane: Three teenagers lighting firecrackers in a storm drain were reported at 5:36 p.m. March 2.

IRVINE

* Huntington: A car parked in the 300 block was broken into, and the car stereo was stolen at 7:27 p.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Cardinal Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported Sunday in the 300 block.
