Huntington Beach City School District has unanimously approved boundaries for the new Huntington Seacliff School. The boundaries includes Bolsa Landmark, Bluffs, Edwards Hill and Hamptons, Seagate, Peninsula, Ocean Colony, Seacliff Estates, Seacliff on the Greens and Upper and Lower Seacliff. “This is exactly what the community of Seacliff wanted, and it is what made the most sense,” said Deanne Thompson, an Upper Seacliff resident who spoke to the board and realignment committee several times during the past months to support the inclusion of her neighborhood. The board also modified the plan to exclude 24 condominiums that are surrounded by Main Street, Huntington Street and Garfield Avenue. Current fourth-graders affected by the boundary change are allowed to stay at their current school if they choose.
