Security Guard Sought in Shooting of Colleague
PASADENA —
Police on Monday were searching for a security guard suspected of shooting and wounding another guard at a northwest Pasadena housing project.
Pablo Alonso, 27 of North Hollywood is wanted for questioning in a shooting at the Community Arms on Friday night.
Gene Gomez, 36, of Covina, an armed guard at the complex, told police he was wounded shortly before 8:30 p.m. by fellow security guard Alonso. Police said they don’t know the motive. Gomez was in stable condition after undergoing surgery at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
