LA PALMA

* La Palma Avenue: A 20-year-old man was arrested at 3:03 a.m. Saturday for possessing a gun that had been reported stolen in Huntington Beach.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Cerritos Avenue: Police received a report that vandals had splattered a telephone pole near Humbolt Street with orange paint at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Via Cuervo: A robbery alarm in the 26000 block was triggered at 4:50 p.m. March 9.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Westcliff Drive: A computer and a printer worth $1,550 were stolen from a home in the 1900 block Sunday evening.

* Cartlen Drive: Report of grand theft in the 600 block at 1:23 p.m. Sunday. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during the victim’s wedding and reception.

* West Avenida San Antonio: A robbery alarm in the 200 block was triggered at 9:15 p.m. March 9.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Ortega Highway: A robbery alarm in the 27000 block was triggered at 1:14 p.m. March 9.

SANTA ANA

* North Main Street: A woman in the 700 block was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery when she threw hot water and coffee on a man at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

SEAL BEACH

* Crestview Avenue: Police were called to a construction site at 10:32 a.m. Friday to help get a skunk out of a hole so the work crew could pour concrete. The skunk was gone when police arrived.

STANTON

* Beach Boulevard: A burglary alarm in the 12000 block was triggered at 5:43 p.m. March 9.

TUSTIN

* Heritage Way: A 1995 Honda Civic, one of the most popular cars with thieves, was reported stolen from its parking space in the 13400 block at 10:24 a.m. Wednesday.
