* Cerritos Avenue: Police received a report that vandals had splattered a telephone pole near Humbolt Street with orange paint at 8:33 p.m. Wednesday.

* North Main Street: A woman in the 700 block was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery when she threw hot water and coffee on a man at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

SEAL BEACH

* Crestview Avenue: Police were called to a construction site at 10:32 a.m. Friday to help get a skunk out of a hole so the work crew could pour concrete. The skunk was gone when police arrived.

* Heritage Way: A 1995 Honda Civic, one of the most popular cars with thieves, was reported stolen from its parking space in the 13400 block at 10:24 a.m. Wednesday.
