Public’s Help Sought in Vandalism Case
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or people who shot at windows at three churches, causing about $2,000 damage.
The churches are the Church of Latter-day Saints, 4345 E. Las Posas Road; Padre Serra Parish, 5205 Upland Road; and Camarillo Community Church, 1322 Las Posas Road.
Sheriff’s Deputy Bob Fleming said the vandalism occurred between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, and probably involved a BB gun or pellet gun.
The Sheriff’s Department asks that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 385-8255. Callers remain anonymous and will be rewarded up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
