Opportunities for Volunteering

The city of Lancaster is seeking volunteers and people associated with nonprofit groups for its California Poppy Festival on April 10 and 11 at Lancaster City Park. Volunteers will receive free food, T-shirts and other prizes. Groups of 10 to 20 people from nonprofits may earn up to $125 for each eight-hour day they work. The deadline to apply is March 23, and an orientation will be held that day at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 44933 N.
