Larry Fortensky Is Released From Hospital
Larry Fortensky, the ex-husband of Elizabeth Taylor who was critically injured in a fall two months ago, has been released from the hospital and will be in the care of his family, a hospital spokeswoman said Monday.
Fortensky, 46, was released Friday from Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. Further information about his condition was not available.
Fortensky suffered serious head injuries when he fell down the stairs in his San Juan Capistrano home early Jan. 28.
Taylor and Fortensky met in 1988 when both were patients at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. They were married in October 1991 at entertainer Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County. The actress filed for divorce in February 1996, citing irreconcilable differences.
