The Sisters of St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, has provided a $10,000 grant to the Huntington Beach Community Clinic for an outreach program, called the Stop In Center, for at-risk teens. The funds will help provide individual teen, parent and group counseling sessions. Teachers and school administrators at two high schools will help identify teens displaying potentially destructive behavior. These students and their parents will be referred to the clinic and its West County Counseling Center. The program’s goal is to improve school attendance and reduce discipline problems.
