Two Quartz Hill High School students accused of making terrorist threats denied the accusation Friday during a hearing at Sylmar Juvenile Court.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested the boys--ages 14 and 15--at the high school in Lancaster on Tuesday. The 14-year-old boy is accused of one count of making a terrorist threat in March, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

The 15-year-old is also accused of making a terrorist threat and dissuading a witness from informing on his activities, Gibbons said.

A hearing Tuesday at Antelope Valley Juvenile Court will determine whether the boys should remain in juvenile custody, Gibbons said.
