GARDEN GROVE

Ronald N. Walter, superintendent of the Garden Grove Unified School District, and James DeLong, director of adult education, were named Orange County administrators of the year by the Assn. of California School Administrators. Both will be honored at the ninth annual Administrator of the Year Awards Celebration, sponsored by the association’s Orange County chapter, on May 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Irvine Marriott hotel. The awards recognize exceptional leadership in managing school programs, commitment to educational quality and student achievement, and creativity and innovation in managing issues facing public education.
