Cypress College automotive instructor Dick Bettendorf was recently named outstanding faculty member in the state. The honor, awarded by other automotive technology instructors, is given to 10 faculty members each year. Bettendorf teaches under an Advanced Transportation Technology Initiative grant funded through the California Community College Economic Development Office.
