Child Advocates Office of Los Angeles needs court-appointed special advocate volunteers to investigate the circumstances of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect and make recommendations to the Los Angeles Superior Court. Volunteers must be at least 25 and have good communication skills. Training takes place in July. Orientation will be held May 13 and 18, June 9 and 14, and July 1 in Monterey Park.
