ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

MAI Systems Corp.: The Irvine provider of information systems and services posted first-quarter net income of $1.2 million, or 11 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $1.1 million, or 11 cents a share, for the 1998 first quarter. Revenue was up 6% to $16.1 million from $15.2 million.
