Brandon Pack

Cypress, Sophomore

Baseball

Pack, from Esperanza High, has been one of the steadiest players for the Chargers this season. He had five hits, including two home runs, scored seven runs and drove in seven, as Cypress won three times to clinch the Orange Empire Conference title. Pack is hitting .348 with nine home runs and 44 runs batted in.

Tofi Togagae

Golden West, Sophomore

Track and Field

Togagae, from Los Amigos High, was the only Golden West female athlete to qualify for the state meet. At the Southern California championships, she won the shotput at 45 feet 3 inches. She was third in the discus (135-1) and third in the javelin (108-1). The state meet is Friday and Saturday at San Francisco.
