Rap, ‘Wars’ Outpace McGraw in SoCal

Country singer Tim McGraw takes Nashville to the top of the national sales chart, where his new collection debuts at No. 1, but in Southern California two other collections outpaced the rural sounds: the soundtrack for the new “Star Wars” movie and a collection of tracks from the Death Row hip-hop stronghold, which entered the regional chart at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
