Andrews Named Vice President at EQE

* Richard Andrews has been named vice president of the U.S. risk consulting division of EQE International in Newport Beach. Director of the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services for California from 1991 to 1998, Andrews also served as senior policy advisor to the governor for public safety.

* Lee Greytak has joined Orange Coast Title Co. in Santa Ana as vice president of finance and administration. He is responsible for all financial and human resource functions of the company. Greytak has more than 27 years of experience in the financial and real estate industry.

* Guy Le has been named associate at Taylor & Associates Architects in Newport Beach, which specializes in health-care architecture and interior design. Le, who joined the firm in 1989, has previously served as a project manager and job captain.

* Sam Gonzalez has joined RiechesBaird Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations in Irvine as traffic manager. He was previously with Ingram Micro in Irvine, most recently as traffic project specialist.

* David Weidner has been named to the newly created position of chief financial officer for Bergen Brunswig Specialty Healthcare Group, part of Orange-based Bergen Brunswig Corp. Weidner was most recently vice president, accounting and reporting, for UPMC, a health-care financing and delivery system. Before that, he was a partner with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in Pittsburgh.

* Laura Wilson has been appointed to the newly created position of product manager, supplies and accessories, for Roland DGA Corp. in Irvine. She was product manager of supplies at CalComp. Patrick Kersey was named to the new position of director of marketing. He had been director of marketing at CalSwitch, a Carson-based distributor of high-tech components.

* Neil M. Sorrentino has been appointed executive vice president of operations for Tenet Healthcare Corp.’s restructured Western division in Irvine. Sorrentino, who was senior vice president and chief executive officer of the Southern California region, will oversee Tenet’s acute care hospitals in California, Arizona, Nevada and Nebraska.

* Bruce Ryan and David Joiner have been elected to the board of directors of MC Informatics Inc. in Irvine. Ryan brings to the board more than 30 years’ experience in the computer industry, at IBM, Digital Equipment Corp. and Wang Laboratories. Joiner is vice president of information systems at Quorum Health Group.

* Doug Wood has been named North American sales manager for HID Corp. in Irvine. He had been Western region sales manager for the past two years. Before joining the company, Wood was regional sales manager for Edicon Systems division and director of sales for Eastman Kodak Co.

* Steven J. Goe has been named vice president of HDR Architecture Inc., an Orange-based architecture, engineering and project development firm. Previously, he was chief executive of a hospital with Scripps Health in San Diego.

* Terri L. Riker has been named vice president, asset and portfolio management for Health Care Property Investors Inc. in Newport Beach. Riker was formerly vice president of property operations at Catellus Development Corp.

* Jeff Scott has joined Stable Earth Systems Inc. in Santa Ana as market development manager. He was previously a sales representative for Pacific Design Concepts/Little Tikes Commercial Playground Equipment in Huntington Beach and project manager for Purkiss Rose-RSI, Landscape Architects/Park Planners in Fullerton.

* Anthony Codianni has been named director of marketing communications and training for Toshiba America Information Systems’ Electronic Imaging division in Irvine. Codianni had been director of training and dealer development for 10 years.

* Darius Karalis has joined Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc. in Garden Grove as vice president of sales and marketing. Karalis comes to Dense-Pac from Whittaker Electronic Systems, where he was director of marketing and new product development. He also held similar positions at United Telecontrol Electronics, E-Systems, Raytheon and Northrop-Grumman.
