Special Help for Special Kids

Thank you for this wonderful story about recognizing those who have helped the special-needs kids of the Conejo Valley school system. Although my young son passed away a couple of years ago with his mom in an accident, his special needs were attended to not only by his mom and me but by many who tried to make his short life a better one.

The only way to know the true value of assistance given by these dedicated volunteers is to be a parent of such a child and see the improvements take place over time. Parents of special kids need all the assistance they can get, as they are challenged by many obstacles. Yet, with a determination that inspires us all, their kids will progress through the love of many.

Thank you to all the volunteers from all of us with special kids.
