Four teachers will be honored Thursday as their schools’ Teachers of the Year at a ceremony organized by the Westminster Chamber of Commerce. The teachers, chosen by their schools, are Chuck Gilmore, business teacher at La Quinta High School; English teacher Elaine Lanz and social studies teacher Chad Gorsage, both of Westminster High School; and Polly Dishno, a teacher at Clegg Elementary School. The chamber is also holding installation ceremonies for its board and new officers, including president Linda Johnson, who was appointed to her post initially to fill an unexpired term but will be elected at the ceremony.
