Myth Will Be Subject of Adult Class in Irvine

The Irvine United Church of Christ will host an adult education class in June featuring the award-winning PBS video series “The Power of Myth,” featuring Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers.

The five-week series will be led by Mindy Nettifee, a political science and peace studies major at Chapman University. Pat See and Paul Apodaca, professors of sociology at Chapman University, will also participate.

The classes are open to the public and will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning June 9. Irvine UCC is at 4915 Alton Parkway. Information: (949) 733-0220.
