Fifteen people have applied to lead Laguna Beach into the future.
The Vision Planning Committee, an ad-hoc group established by City Council, will begin consideration of the applicants for a consultant position at 6 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
The consultant’s primary responsibility will be to facilitate long-term planning based on an overall big picture, or vision, of the future.
The vision will be defined by community members through a series of open discussions.
