The La Habra Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Person About Town community fund-raiser from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Cafe El Cholo, 840 E. Whittier Blvd.
Three candidates Danny Hanson, Garry Hobday and Debbie Hobday--are competing for the Person About Town title, which recognizes active community members. They will participate in a “Why Me?” presentation to gather votes. Each vote costs $1. The money will be split between the chamber and the winning candidate’s charity of choice.
