Vice President to Head Advanced Photonix

Brock Koren has been elected to the board of directors and will serve as president and chief executive officer of Advanced Photonix in Camarillo.

Koren joined the company in July 1998 and has been serving as vice president of sales and marketing. In his new assignment, he succeeds Harry Melkonian, who resigned to seek other opportunities.

The company also announced that Harold Blomquist and Robert Allison have resigned from the board of directors, primarily due to time constraints. The company intends to fill these seats with independent directors.
