THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* East Birch Street: A petty theft was reported in the 1900 block at 11:02 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Acacia Street: Obscene phone calls were reported in the 200 block at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Canyon Country Road: A burglary was reported in the 300 block at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

* Brea Mall: A petty theft was reported in the 1000 block at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Newhope Street: Someone attempted to pry open the front door of a business with a screwdriver, causing stress cracks in the door, in the 17100 block at 9:21 a.m. Friday.

LAKE FOREST

* El Toro Road: A woman reported that her purse had been stolen from a restaurant in the 23500 block at 3:50 a.m. Sunday.

* Le Parc: A woman reported that a pumpkin was smashed on her car in the 25700 block At 5:40 p.m. Monday. The investigation is ongoing.

* Teton Way at Zuni Drive: The windshield of a parked vehicle was reported shattered at 12:30 a.m. Monday.

ORANGE

* East Collins Avenue: Report of property stolen from a car parked in the 1800 block at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

* West Katella Avenue: A car was reported stolen in the 200 block at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

PLACENTIA

* West Chapman Avenue: A drunken driver was reported in the 700 block at 10:06 p.m. Wednesday.

* Prospect Avenue: A residential burglary was reported in the 15000 block at 5:18 p.m. Tuesday.

* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: A robbery was reported in the 100 block at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday.

TUSTIN

* El Camino Real: A burglary alarm was triggered in the 2800 block at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

* East 1st Street: A suspicious person was reported in the 500 block at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday

YORBA LINDA

* Via Maria: A burglary was reported in the 5300 block at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday.

* Regulus Drive: A burglary was reported in the 17000 block at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday.

* Via Del Venado: A burglary was reported in the 21000 block at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday.

* White Springs Lane: A trespass was reported in the 19000 block at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports Thursday: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Dana Point, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Stanton, Villa Park and Westminster.
