Camarillo 35, Rio Mesa 18--Loren Cerny rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns in 17 carries and the host Scorpions clinched at least a tie of the league title.
Cerny scored on runs of 25, 11 and four yards for Camarillo.
Camarillo (4-4-1, 3-0) scored 20 points to start the game, a run that was capped by a 31-yard interception return by Brian Smith.
Trailing, 35-3, in the fourth quarter, Pancho Tinoco connected with Anthony Tinoco for touchdown passes of 17 and nine yards for Rio Mesa (2-7, 0-4).
Pancho Tinoco completed 15 of 25 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns.
