The City Council tonight will discuss how to take a bite out of crime with a new $21,000 law enforcement grant.

The money, provided by the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program, must be used to improve public safety and reduce crime in the city. Police Services has recommended the grant be spent on more driving under the influence and gang and graffiti officers, community crime prevention programs and new school programs.
