Exotic Visitor to Irvine Lake

Share

There was a sigh of relief Tuesday among people who work and play at Irvine Lake following the capture Tuesday of a 3-foot-long reptile, believed to be an alligator, that had eluded pursuers since at least the weekend. Don Blackman of Santa Ana holds the animal aloft. The reptile, whose snout was taped shut for safety after it was caught, is scheduled to be taken today to the Wild Life Way Station in Angeles Forest.
