The conference is expected to draw about 20,000 attendees, who can participate in 300 technical sessions or visit the exhibition hall, where more than 300 Oracle-related companies will be demonstrating their products.

A host of computer industry luminaries will also speak at the conference, including Oracle Corp. Chief Executive Larry Ellison, Intel Corp. CEO Craig Barrett, Compaq Computer Corp. CEO Michael Capellas and Sun Microsystems Inc. CEO Scott McNealy.
