* Story line: The Patriots, who have scrambled to develop a running attack, will get a chance to see what they lost when Curtis Martin carries the ball for the Jets. Martin, a Patriot in his first three NFL seasons before signing as a free agent with the Jets in 1998, has rushed for 128, 123 and 131 yards in his last three games. He had 38 carries in his last game, a 12-7 win over Arizona, “Most of the time, the more I carry the better I feel,” Martin said. “You don’t really take time to think about how your body feels.”
