The Fountain Valley provider of retail automation software and services said net income for the fourth quarter increased to $741,000, or 28 cents a share, from $147,000, or 7 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 54% to a record $8 million. Net income for the year increased to $1.5 million, or 59 cents a share, from $167,000, or 8 cents a share, for fiscal 1998. Revenue was up 47% to $27.7 million.
