Re “Police Must Heed Suspects’ Right to Silence, Court Says,” Nov. 9: The “just following orders” defense didn’t work at Nuremberg for the Nazis, and it doesn’t work in Los Angeles and Santa Monica for the police. Kudos to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals!
