SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The City Council approved a parking lot and traffic signs in the Los Rios Historic District to mitigate traffic problems.
The 100-space lot will be accompanied by traffic signs directing motorists to park there, not on Los Rios Street.
City officials will now select a site to build the parking lot. No construction date has been set.
A 1.5-acre park will also be constructed at the corner of Ramos Street and Paseo Adelanto.
