Odetics Promotes Ed Rowe to Senior Vice President

Ed Rowe has been named senior vice president of transportation systems for Odetics ITS in Anaheim. Rowe, who joined the company in 1997, had been vice president prior to his appointment. His previous experience includes two years as chief executive of Gardner-Rowe Systems Inc. and 35 years with the Los Angeles department of transportation.

* Evan D. Smiley has been sworn in as president of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum. He is a partner in the Costa Mesa law firm of Albert Weiland & Golden LLP.

* Ed Keller has been appointed business development manager for Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel. He has overseen the Internet sites for two other Southern California Mercedes-Benz dealerships for the past five years. In addition, Stephen McCarthy has been named general sales manager. He had been sales manager.

* Richard Ho has been appointed vice president of information technology for LoansDirect Inc. in Huntington Beach. Ho was formerly an independent software consultant and before that was vice president of information technology for TrueLink Inc. in San Luis Obispo.

* Donny Disbro has been selected marketing manager for the new Internet services division of Professional Community Management Inc. in Lake Forest. Disbro has been with the company for three years and previously served as a property manager.

* Robert Lorum has joined RiechesBaird Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations in Irvine as director of Internet marketing. He had been web project director and director of marketing and advertising for Firstsource.com in Santa Ana. Lorum was also director of marketing at both En Pointe Technologies and Intelligent Electronics.

* Bruce Greenfield has been appointed senior associate of MBH Architects. He is the managing director of the Newport Beach office.
