Faith Baptist 56, Avalon 18--Julio Bautista completed nine of 11 passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns for the Contenders in a quarterfinal victory of the Large Division playoffs at Faith Baptist.
Bautista had touchdown passes to Jeremy Lopez of 15 and 19 yards. Lopez caught four passes for 107 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown from Eujay Massengay.
Melvin Johnson caught three passes for 77 yards and a touchdown from Bautista.
Massengay rushed 16 times for 141 yards and Lonnie Clayton had 16 rushes for 156 yards for Faith Baptist (10-1).
