The Planning Commission approved construction of a self-storage facility on Knott Street. Before the vote, some residents spoke out against the self-storage units, saying that the facility is inappropriate for a residential neighborhood. Commissioners voting in favor said that with an irregularly shaped land parcel such as that on Knott Street, few other businesses can make use of the lot.
