Shawn Kemp’s outside shot finally looked like it was in shape.

Playing with five fouls, Kemp made four jumpers and set up Lamond Murray’s crucial three-pointer in the final 4:41 Tuesday night as the Cleveland Cavaliers ended Portland’s six-game winning streak, stunning the Trail Blazers, 103-100, at Cleveland.

Kemp, struggling with his shot this season, had 28 points and 10 rebounds as Cleveland became the first team to score 100 points against Portland and ended its own three-game losing skid.

“We beat the best team in the league,” Cavalier guard Bob Sura said. “We played harder than they did tonight. They made a good run at us, but Kemp and Murray won it for us.”

Portland, playing its fifth consecutive road game, lost for only the second time in 12 games. The Trail Blazers shot only 40% from the field.

Washington 89, Vancouver 87--Mitch Richmond scored 19 points and Isaac Austin added 16 to lead the Wizards at Washington.

Austin sank one of two free throws with 2:01 left to put the Wizards ahead for good at 86-85, and added two free throws with 6.6 seconds left to clinch the victory.

Sacramento 105, New Jersey 92--Chris Webber scored 26 points, grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds and added 10 assists at Sacramento, as the Kings won their seventh consecutive game. The Kings are off to a league-best 8-1 start, the best start in franchise history, surpassing the 1952-53 Rochester Royals.

Atlanta 113, Miami 106--Isaiah Rider scored 32 points in his return to the Hawk lineup at Atlanta.

Atlanta became the first team since the 1996-97 season to score more than 110 points against the Heat.

Houston 119, Dallas 99--Charles Barkley scored 26 points and the Rockets finally won a home game.

Houston had been the NBA’s only winless home team at 0-6, but Barkley’s inspired performance was enough to beat the Mavericks.

Phoenix 94, Toronto 93--Jason Kidd had 15 assists and 16 points, including two free throws with 1.3 seconds left that gave the Suns a one-point victory at Phoenix.

Vince Carter, who scored 19 points, made Toronto’s last field goal with 1:22 left to put the Raptors up, 93-86.
