5 Are Promoted at Pacific Life

Dewey P. Bushaw has been named senior vice president, sales in the annuities division of Pacific Life Insurance Co. He had been vice president. Bushaw joined the Newport Beach company in 1994 as national sales manager in the division. Joseph E. Celentano was promoted from assistant vice president to vice president, product management in the institutional products division. Adrian S. Griggs was named vice president, financial in the annuities division. Griggs was previously assistant vice president, financial in the institutional products division. Carol R. Sudbeck was promoted from assistant vice president to vice president of operations for the annuities division. Nancy A. Webb has been appointed vice president, finance and field services in the life insurance division. She has been with Pacific Life since 1991 as assistant vice president of financial reporting.

* James A. White has joined the board of directors of Efinity Inc. in Aliso Viejo. White most recently served as president and chief executive of Alteer Corp. and before that was senior vice president and general manager of Wonderware Corp.

* Jamie Carrow has been appointed director of sales and marketing for the Hyatt Newporter and will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the resort’s sales division. She was formerly associate director of sales at the Hyatt Regency San Diego.

* Earl Malit has been named president of HNC Insurance Solutions, the insurance industry division of HNC Software in Irvine. He was previously senior vice president of product management. Before joining the company, Malit was vice president of business planning at Sega of America.
