In the Kings’ Court

Share

As an employee of King World for 10 years and a friend of the King family for 25, I found Scott Collins’ portrayal of Michael and Roger King and the King family (“The Once and Future Kings,” Oct. 31) disturbingly mean-spirited.

The indisputable fact is that, professionally, Michael and Roger King have re-created and redefined television syndication. It didn’t happen by accident, but through brilliance. And their devotion to family, their loyalty to friends and employees and their quiet philanthropy should be a standard for all employers.
