Koll Names Tschudin Head of Business Development

* Thomas Tschudin is the new director of business development for Koll Construction LP in Newport Beach. He was previously business development manager for Gordon & Williams General Contractors and has held project manager and general superintendent positions with R.D. Olson Construction, BCI General Contractors and Taylor Woodrow Construction.

* Robert J. Candy has been named director of construction support services for PC Associates Inc. in Tustin, which provides plan check services for builders, owners, architects and construction mangers of educational and health-care facilities. Candy was formerly vice president of the California office of Merrill Jones & Associates.

* Neil G. Huson has been selected health-care practice leader and senior vice president for the Newport Beach office of Marsh Risk and Insurance Services. He recently held the same position in the Portland office.

* Keith Karpe has been appointed senior director of media relations for Fluor Corp. in Aliso Viejo. He had been a vice president at Sanwa Bank California and before that held a senior communications post with Grubb & Ellis Co. In addition, Randy Bergman joined the company as senior director of employee communications. She most recently managed communications and community relations for Colgate-Palmolive Co.

* Debbie Stinson, Kim Hockings and Maryhelen Davidson have been named senior community association managers at Keystone Property Management Inc. in Irvine. Stinson, who has been with the firm five years, was previously with William Lyon Co. Before joining Keystone three years ago, Davidson was a supervisor in the payroll service department of Safeguard Business Systems. Hockings has been with Keystone more than four years and was formerly as assistant manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in North Orange County.

* Philip S. Inglee has been appointed to the board of directors of PriVest Bank in Costa Mesa. Inglee was president and chief executive of Liberty National Bank in Huntington Beach from 1981 to 1997.

* Donna Duran has been named to the new position of vice president of corporate accounting for New Century Financial Corp. in Irvine. Ed Martella was named to the new position of vice president and controller of New Century’s retail division. Duran joined the company last year as assistant vice president of corporate accounting. Martella joined New Century in December as assistant vice president and controller for the retail division.

* Michael Yim has been named vice president, commercial lending officer for Sunwest Bank in Tustin. He was formerly a vice president for Southern California Bank and has held positions with First Interstate Bank and Security Pacific National Bank. Angela Him-Moreno was appointed vice president, SBA lending. She was previously a credit officer with both Amresco Independence Funding and Heller Financial, and held positions with First American Bank, Banco Popular, First Los Angeles Bank and City National Bank.

* Thomas J. Nieto, vice president of U.S. Trust Co., has joined the firm’s Costa Mesa office as manager of private banking. He was a vice president and senior loan officer in the Los Angeles office for six years. Before joining U.S. Trust, Nieto was a vice president and team leader for Bank of America’s private banking department in Los Angeles.
