4 Men Sought on Arrest Warrants

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four people wanted for allegedly violating probation or failing to appear in court. Arrest warrants were issued in each case.

Reyes Banuelos Cardona, also known as Tomas Lopez Rivera, 71, is accused of skipping bail and failing to appear in court on charges of committing a lewd act with a child under the age of 14.

Cardona, who is disabled and doesn’t work, last lived with his family in the 1100 block of South M Street in Oxnard. He is Latino, 5 feet 7, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Daryl Lynn Simpson, 38, is accused of violating his probation on a kidnapping conviction. He last lived with his family on Crowley Avenue in Ventura, but family members told police Simpson left the area in April. He last worked in construction.

Simpson is white, 5 feet 8, 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Tattoos on his left arm include wings, a grim reaper, moon and stars and a rose.

Joseph John Plasko, 44, is accused of violating his probation on convictions for grand theft and grand theft auto. Deputies believe he is a transient.

Plasko is white, 5 feet 7, 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Joe Angel Salazar, 35, is accused of failure to appear in court on charges of possessing dangerous drugs. He last lived with family in the 1400 block of Woodland Street in Oxnard.

Salazar is Latino, 5 feet 10, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The name “Joe Jr.” is tattooed on his right shoulder.
