Peace and Quiet

Share

What on earth is Ventura thinking? I, a quiet, peaceful tourist, was seeking a peaceful weekend on the beach . . . but nooooo, what I got was an afternoon of rolling thunder with overgrown adolescents allowed to strut their whatevers with helicopters chasing them around to boot. I can’t believe that this quiet village of Ventura is allowing this to go on.

Furthermore, where are the environmentalists? The ocean is getting churned like some witches’ caldron, and the decibel level for the fish and sea life must be ear shattering.

When will the people of this planet learn to live lightly on this fragile surface? Must we always ruin it with thundering engines racing around in circles--for absolutely no reason?

Wake up, Ventura! Stop this craziness!
