ASHEVILLE, N.C. —
Ukiah Morrison, whose penchant for wearing a G-string in public drew the wrath of city officials, placed 16th in a field of 18 seeking three seats on the City Council.
Morrison, 26, who was profiled Tuesday in The Times, received 247 of 10,602 votes cast. He finished ahead of a disabled man who uses a walker and a believer in witchcraft who brews his own beer.
