TUSTIN
California Department of Corrections representatives agreed to withdraw their consideration of three proposed sites for a parole office in the city Wednesday.
The state’s parole division agreed that the potential sites, at 14322 Chambers Road, 2601 Walnut Ave. and 15222 Del Amo Ave., were too close to residents and children, Mayor Tracy Wills Worley said.
“We are really pleased that the agency worked with us and listened to our concerns,” Worley said.
