Why doesn’t the Los Angeles Unified School District use vouchers to contend with a growing student population?
Unused capacity at the local private schools can absorb many thousands of students while no private property would have to be confiscated for construction.
Newly built schools will not have to be mothballed when school attendance inevitably drops.
Let’s take advantage of existing capacity to supply a quality publicly funded education.
