LAGUNA WOODS
At its first meeting Friday, the city’s Community Services Committee is expected to make recommendations to the City Council about arts, cultural activities, city beautification and cleanup projects.
The 11-member committee, which is composed of volunteers nominated by the council, is scheduled to discuss possible projects, create subcommittees and determine a regular meeting schedule.
The committee will meet at 9 a.m. Friday at Manorcare at Palm Terrace, First Floor Parlor, 24962 Calle Aragon.
